The philosophy
The Gauder Group has been delivering new and resale equipment to the
wire, cable and fiber optic industries since 1976. It sets out to serve
as a partner that is active, progressive and most of all ... close to
its customers.
Efforts to meet that challenge and at the same develop the group spirit hinge on a multi-faceted approach combined with vast geographical coverage:
- owning sites throughout Europe, the USA and China;
- participating in trade fairs such as "Wire" and "Resale" (Germany), "Interwire" (USA), "Wire Russia", "Wire & Cable Expo" (India), "Wire Singapore" and "Wire Asia" (China);
- visiting cable makers when traveling to meet prospective customers;
- and, of course, opening production facilities to current and prospective customers for inspection, demonstrations and test runs.
The organization
The headquarters are based in Liège ( Belgium) where the central sales organization is located.
The synergy between the companies of the group is:
- commercial (global presence, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction)
- technical (design, R&D)
- procurement (central buying operations)
- manufacturing (modern production facilities)
1. SETIC- Gauder Group: Design and manufacturing company of rotating machines for metallic cables and all machines/lines for fiber optic cables.
2. POURTIER- Gauder Group: Giving the group a logical extension of expertise in design and manufacture of rotating machines, the company offers excellent and reputed experience in standing machines for Power and larger Cable production.
3. MAPRE- Gauder Group: Design and manufacture of extruders as well as extrusion line for metallic and fiber optic cables.
4. GAUDER & Co: Specialist in off the shelf resale equipment supply for cable factories and wire works. The company has a permanent stock of over 1000 machines and a fully equipped workshop for equipment reconditioning, reconfiguring and automation.
5. GAUDER GROUP INC.: Based in Charlotte (NC) and Atlanta (GA), covers the US and Canadian markets for all group products. The facility includes a demonstration and testing area for new machines (for metallic and fiber optic cables) as well as space to overhaul and modernize resale equipment (150 machines in stock are immediately available).
