EDER Engineering-Austria  is a worldwide acknowledged specialist and leader in the field of advanced drawing die-tools, die processing technology and equipment and such a " global player" in supplying the following products to the international wire- and cable industry:

  • Wire drawing die-tools made from tungsten carbide, natural diamond and synthetic PCD.

  • Die-Tool processing machines for the repair and/or production of these ultra hard precision tools (standard, semi-automatic and fully automatic conceptions).

  • Die Workshop Ancillary equipment (e.g. inspection- and measuring, die-cleaning devices etc.)

  • Technical Assistance (Installation, Training, Know How)

  • Die-Tool working materials / consumables (e.g. diamond powders, -pastes, -compounds, - suspensions, -grinding pins).

The nowadays production scope of EDER Engineering-Austria covers about 80% machines, 10% special drawing die-tools and 10% software (technical assistance). These advanced products are being currently supplied to the international wire- and cable industry in over 67 countries worldwide and in state-of-the-art technology. EDER is also regularly participating in all important technical international exhibitions and symposia in Europe, Northern America and Asia. Over 40 representations worldwide are standing by to assist our international customers whenever required.         

EDER-Austria , with over 55 years of experience in this special field, offers highly efficient solutions for both the reconditioning and production of ultra hard precision die-tools of all kinds and with specific customer-oriented solutions.

1) Die-Tool Processing Machines (Hardware):

EDER supplies single, individual machines to upgrade already existing lines, complete die-tool reconditioning workshops and efficient die production lines including of any kind of required Software/Know How/Technical Assistance, all in state-of-the-art technology and with a high degree of automation even in Standard units. As in the special field of die-tool processing often no longer sufficient human skills exist, " artificial intelligence" built into all EDER equipment now, assists to compensate this factor quite a lot and to make most operation a much easier to do job. Machines, workshops and lines, today make about 80% of our production.

2) Precision Drawing Die Tools:

They are carefully produced to each customer's specific requirements and either made from tungsten carbide (TC), natural diamond (ND), or synthetic polycristalline diamond (PCD), all in an outstanding quality.

Today die-tools only make about 10 %of our overall production. One of the main reasons for this being the fact, that EDER-Austria also supplies a lot of special equipment to die-manufacturers too, not aiming to compete them with their own products, "dies", later on too much and in an unfair manner...

3) Technical Assistance (Software):

Our multilingual specialists and over 40 international EDER-representations worldwide are providing the best possible services all over the globe and in the following fields of activities:
